BUILDING THE SPORT OF DISC GOLF

This park amenity will not only ameliorate recreational opportunities in Hamilton Park, Peterborough ON, it will help to encourage younger, newer players to the sport.

Located beside the Trans Canada Trail just south of Jackson Park, this course will be accessible to players of all ages traveling by foot or bicycle along the trail.

PLAYING WELL WITH OTHERS

The course layout is designed to use the natural forest cover and existing maintained green infrastructure of Hamilton Park. Very little additional resources will be required to maintain the course facility.

To ensure this course is a good fit, all 9 throws (tee offs) were designed with consideration for the existing users of the park; including walkers along the creek, the childrens’ playground, and the adjacent properties.
